Toffee comes to us as an owner surrender. She has had a bit of a tough start in life. Her previous owner did not give her the best care, she lived in an outdoor kennel most of her life. Regardless of that, she has maintained her bright disposition. Toffee has missed a few things in life however. She has had very little experience walking on a leash for one. She has made progress while she has been here but still needs some more work. Patience and a few yummy treats will go a long way in teaching her a great loose leash walk.
Toffee was good with the dogs she met here. She was polite but somewhat disinterested. She was great with all her handling which should make her appropriate for kids as young as 6. Exercise should not be excessive, figure on a couple of walks around the neighborhood per day.
Toffee is a sweet little girl who is now looking for a good person to give her a loving home where she can spend the rest of her life. She will reward that person with being a wonderful loving companion.
